GVI has the experience and expertise in providing “cradle to grave logistics.” Efforts include determining logistics support requirements at all levels of support (organic and OEM); reviewing logistics and technical products for accuracy, applicability and usefulness; creating logistics documentation and products; and implementing logistics support programs through contract completion.
GVI provides our customers with proven processes and procedures that we document and maintain. Logistics lessons learned are promulgated within our organization and to our customers to ensure that GVI as an entity maintains continuity. Examples of corporate and customer promulgation include briefing of Item Unique Identification (IUID) systems, requirements and applications, Supply Chain Management approaches, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources / Material Shortages (DMS/MS) methodology and standardization of reporting methods.
